Hi Lynn,
Probably all depends on the local weather at the time. Even storms far from Abaco can send some good waves in. If a cold front has passed Abaco, the waves will be somewhat more "active". If the wind has been calm then the waves could be almost non-existent. Usually, it's calm enough to snorkel right off the beach.
