I'm sure there must be quieter surf times. They had told us a front had just moved out so I'm sure that was the end of the rough surf. I consider myself a good swimmer but the current was quiet strong. If we went out into the waves about in front of Coco Paridise the waves would have you down in front of Nippers in no time. You could not swim against it....so you go with it...there really wasn't much of an under current move of a sideways current. No one was snorkeling out there that day......I'm sure it depends on mother nature.
